Senior Full-Stack Python Developer (Cloud Platform, Remote-Friendly)

About the Role

You’ll work closely with a PIC in the UK and the NetBina team in Tehran to Design, build, and fully own a brand-new cloud platform — from zero to "wow." You’ll use modern tools (yes, Cursor and AI assistants are part of your daily toolkit) and enjoy a high degree of independence while staying connected to two supportive teams across two countries.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be our go-to technical force — the person who can take an evolving idea and quietly (or loudly, if that’s your vibe) turn it into a real, usable product. Along the way, you’ll also support urgent client-based NetBina projects when needed.

Location & Working Pattern

• Remote (worldwide)
• Initially 2–3 days per week (part-time), with possibility of moving to full-time
• Some overlap with UK and Tehran time zones required

Start Date: Ideally early January 2026

Key responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain backend services in Python
• Implement frontend UIs using modern frameworks and technologies (exploring Svelte, React, Vue, Nuxt, Node.js, alongside JavaScript/HTML/CSS)
• Define, implement, and integrate APIs and Database structures; strong understanding of API logic is essential
• Deploy, host, and manage the application on cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud)
• Manage servers, version control using Git, and general server deployment practices
• Use Cursor and AI tools as core parts of your daily workflow
• Run rapid prototyping cycles, gather user feedback, and iterate fast
• Join meetings with clients and non-technical stakeholders to clarify needs and present solutions
• Work largely solo — owning backend, frontend, hosting, technical decision-making, and Database management end-to-end
• Write queries and manage data to generate reports and extract insights from databases (e.g., MySQL)

Required skills & experience:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong Python skills with hands-on experience building server-side applications
• Full-stack experience, including frontend development with modern frameworks and solid JavaScript/HTML/CSS abilities
• Ability and willingness to research and learn newer UI frameworks (Svelte, React, Vue, Nuxt, Node.js)
• Strong understanding of API Design and implementation
• Good working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and web app/server deployments
• Comfortable managing servers, using Git for version control, and handling the full technical stack independently
• Excellent English (spoken and written) for client and stakeholder communication
• Comfortable using Cursor and AI development tools (or able to pick them up quickly)
• Proactive, self-motivated, disciplined — thrives in autonomous roles
• Ability to manage data and write queries for reports and Database insights (e.g., MySQL)

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience building greenfield platforms and rapid prototypes
• Prior remote, autonomous work experience
• Familiarity collaborating with both UK-based and Iran-based teams
