About this position

QA engineer/Tester is responsible for inspecting products at different phases in their development to ensure they meet a set of consistent standards. He / She is in charge of Testing our apps, workflows for errors and verification of features before and during development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and carry out manual and automated Testing on our Architecture and systems to ensure high performance, usability, and scalability.
• Perform white box, black box, regression, component, API, and load Testing.
• Identify and document bugs and test out resolved issues.
• Building, coding, and implementing software evaluation test programs
• Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and Testing of product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables
• Analyze and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements

Skills and Qualifications

• Relevant degree or a combination of training and experience
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Hands-on experience as a software or web application tester
• Experience in automated and manual test Design and execution
• Proven work experience in Unit Test preparation and setup
• Familiarity with TDD
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages, such as Python or PHP
• Experience in agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban
• Ability to use Git to track changes in source code during software development
• Proficiency in English, both oral and written
