The team
As part of the Quality Assurance team, you'll maintain the quality, stability, and usability of our client's products. We work in a Testing center of excellence and carry out high-quality tests on applications and websites. We closely work with developers and product designers to ensure that our clients get the best experience.

The role
As an Automation Tester, you'll analyze the functionality of applications in addition to designing and executing automated and manual tests. You'll be in charge of developing and performing detailed test plans based on system requirements. The product's reliable, optimum, and agile performance will be your responsibility. Your extensive knowledge will help improve internal processes and the manual guides of the team.

Challenges

• Program and deploy Testing software to automate the Testing process and reduce efforts and time.
• Select test cases, create an Automation test plan, configure Selenium or Robot Framework, conduct regression Testing, and handle documentation.
• Create, enhance, debug, and run manual and automated test cases to ensure continuous software quality improvement.
• Execute the Automation strategy and drive innovation collectively as a team member.
• Test third-party APIs on our platforms to verify the accuracy of third-party data.
• Work efficiently with software developers to improve the quality of the product. Interact with the customer support team and try to resolve all product related queries.

Minimum requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of technical education, training, and work experience
• Experience in Automation Testing frameworks such as Robot Framework and Selenium
• Expertise in designing and executing test plans (both automated and manual)
• Proficiency in agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban
• Ability to write high-quality, self-documenting code using test-driven development techniques
• Strong knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git
• In-depth knowledge of continuous integration Testing
• Passion for Linux and other open-source platforms
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills

Preferred experience and knowledge

• Experience with PostgreSQL or another RDBMS
• Experience in JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, CSS
• Experience in performance and load Testing
• Proficiency with one or more programming languages, preferably Perl, Python, PHP, C/C++
