Job description

• Take ownership of the entire project from requirement to final delivery stage.
• Responsible for providing expertise in the software development life cycle, from concept, Architecture, Design, implementation, & Testing.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to understand needs.
• Leading & mentoring teams on a project.
• Strong focus on quality by enforcing the code reviews & developing best practices/processes.
• Responsible for planning the end-to-end technical scope of the project including planning sprints & deliveries.
• Estimates efforts, identify risks & provide technical support whenever needed.
• Demonstrates the ability to multitask & re-prioritize responsibilities based on dynamic requirements.
• Report for all the tasks and the progress of projects periodically.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or related professional experience in a related field.
• Extensive experience in software Architecture, system Design & development.
• Extensive development experience in Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, Django, and Pandas.
• Strong technical and analytical aptitude; Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to clarify/translate customer requirements into Epics/Stories & remove ambiguity.
• Ability to collaborate across teams with varying levels of experience to achieve common goals.

Preferred experience

• Advanced knowledge of best practices in software engineering, data management, data storage, data computing, and distributed systems across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, Testing, and operations.
• Familiarity with Angular.
• Familiarity with Data Pipelines and Airflow.
• Experience in the Financial industry is a plus.
